good stuff

Well, amazingly everything came together somehow and for super cheap. Dad refinished the calipers with some hard work, we got the drums redone/turned for like 15 bucks, found the rotors, wheel cylinders, shoes and pads at Autozone and are finishing up the car tonight. Pretty unreal since my initial parts pricing was nearly $600 for all that. It will end up being, for redone brakes, exhaust work and other odds and ends that the car needed (new hoses, fluids, cleaners, wipers, pump, etc) about $400 or so...rough estimate. Thank God for that! I should have it on the road tonight, getting the engine cleaned out before a final tune up and an oil change before I take it for a short weekend trip. Thanks for all the help and advice that has been given. The next part that we need to get looked at is going to be the heater/vent fan and getting that working. we've got a dead short going on there....
