Names Nick and i am 23 years old. I purchased a 72 gt last august from a guy in MN who had intentions of ripping everything out and turning it into a drifting car
The car ran nicely but before i got it out to my parents house, the headlites and lower aftermarket crap lites the po installed died, and the alternator was not charging. Almost Nothing was hooked up right, there was a serious fuel smell in the cab, all front and rear lites did not work, and best of all the belly pan area looked like it hit something so fearce that it was basicalley ripped out and bent the metal edges back wards. Since that day my father and I have rewired it correctly(thankfully most of the stuff inside the cab worked), fixed the steering collumn, riveted a nice piece of sheet metal in the belly pan area, made a battery housing, got the all of the lites working(we just need to fix the rear marker lites as the po filled in the old holes and cut out new ones and put some junky old chrysler side markers.
Its still going to take a while but at least i saved a great car from some cruel intentions!!
