Thanks for the replies. Although the mirror glass is a little blotchy, it is the crumbling black plastic opposite the mirror side which is bothering me. I looked at one from a '82 bmw 320i - it was about the right size, but wrong mount (snaps into a large rectangular hole). I was just wondering if someone has scoured the junkyards and found an oem replacement...
