According to the papers it got its license-plates March 26. 1971.
I should have taken a pic of the vin-plate when I was looking at it.
The bumpers where black, but seemed to have been chromed before.
The car is partly disassembled, so it was hard to catch all details. But it dit not have the pop-out rear quarter windows. Maybe the GT/J didn't have these?
GT/J did not have pop out quarter windows, if the bumpers look chrome maybe they were changed at sometime for some reason. Check the number on the radiator support if it matches the numbers on the vin plate (minus the 79) then it should be a GT/J original. Does it have a rubber floor mat instead of carpet?
