Kadett Rallye Steering Questions for Gurus?

This is a question for the people that REALLY know the Kadetts.

Going thru the parts book, I found that the 67 1/2 thru 70 Kadett Rallyes had a different steering rack pinion. Anyone have any knowledge of what makes it different? Stronger? Quicker? The rack is the same, 23 or 25 teeth, but the pinion difference is not specified.

Also, the rear coils are listed as "Heavy Duty" for 69-70.
The front spring is 68-70 1.5-1.9 Rallye and 68-71 station wagon (model 39 in 71-72).
