my torque tube had the no rubber bumper problem and i checked it out 2 weeks ago and im guessing from it bouncing around it caused my pinion gear to shread. Thats why i think my pinion gear is so chewed away.
But the sound i had comming from my rearend was a "growling" sound when i was starting to accelerate from 0mph
