There are plenty of efi threads. Some of them are kind of long so fishing for information can be a pain.

If you are considering EFI I'd say go for it! Just keep in mind that it takes a few more modifications than just bolting it up. You can go with the euro injection or a stand alone EFI system. How much do you have to spend and what are your intended uses of the system/engine? That will largely determine what system you'll want to go with.

I am in the process of fitting a 2.4l engine into my GT along with the Motronic fuel injection system using a cut down 3.0l intake since the 2.4l manifold is way too tall. The basic mods to make this work are to add a return line to the fuel tank, install high pressure fuel pump, run new fuel lines, cut hole in passenger side footwell and run the efi through the hole, change the hood latch to fit the efi manifold, and modify the throttle to work with the throttle body.
