Hi Everyone,

I need help to regain my sanity. My passenger rear shock has been LOUDLY squealing for some time. Gil sent me some new upper rubber bushings and it helped for all of a week. Then slowly, the squealing came back and gets louder as time passes.

I found the source of the squealing when my brother drove my car around with me in the back. The book says to torque the top of the shock to 10ft/lbs. I've gone way beyond that trying to kill the noise. Every time I loosen the nuts and retighten, the sound goes away initially. But quickly comes back.

I'm thinking of trying some WD40. Is that a good idea?
