Pertronix is new and since I have had the car it has not run... but for 15 seconds an hour ago ~ and i followed the 12 steps to install the unit and sent the power wire directly to the fuse box.

The car turns like it wants to start. i was able to get spark out of the distributor but now it just fails to go all the way. it ran for about 15 seconds but once i moved the distributor just a little it quit. i have a gas can that is hooked up to pump and trying to pull fuel in the carb but the new clear filter does not fill up. I just have so mant little things that are going wrong they may add up to my problem.

I tried to answer all the questions that may help, please let me know if I forgot anything.
