It does look like the hole may be larger than the end of the cable and if this is the case then I can see how cable will not turn.
Is this part easy to obtain and change? Does the tranny have to come out?
And while we are at it.............
I checked my transmission fluid today and remembered how you helped me out with the dipstick part last year. For some reason I do not think I actually paid you for that part and the shipping. If I did not please let me know and I will dispatch a M.O. to you on Monday.
