I am installing a new clutch in my Gt and I am not sure what side goes to the flywheel/engine side. The new disc has the springs that are flush to the dish and the other side has a round plate that is holding the springs that is higher than the other side. I don't have a repair manual to show me what side of the disk should go towards the flywheel, can someone tell me the correct side

Sometimes it is actually marked on the clutch disc, either stamped or with a sticker, but, the way I always remembered is the center where it is splined, it's longer on one side than the other, the longer side goes toward the engine, plus it also shows it in the FSM, which you say you don't have.
