I've powdercoated a lot of things, and even the engine parts of a GT. I would not powdercoat starter or alternator housings, as they depend on good grounds, and honestly powdercoated items are tough to ground out properly, you have to grind off the coating. Make sure your threads on stuff are kept clean. I do not like powder coating aluminum items just from past experience of coating them, usually end up with solvent pops in it and such, but just remember to clean and maybe pre-bake. The almost chrome is nice, but I might opt to polish and then zoop seal to get the shiny look
