well. here is my 2 bits worth.
this is a great carburetor. It has some drawbacks
one problem with this carburetor is that it is about an inch taller than a DGAV series carburetor.
they have a starter device similar to the DCOE
The big issue is jet changes. the main jets come out of the side of the carburetor, so you have to pinch off the fuel hose and run the engine so it empties the carb, or you have gas running all over the place.
next, air corrector jets. Not common, however the main jets fit. the emulsion tubes are hard to get.
some carbs have no vacuum advance port.
