Unanswered: Push Button Starter

I am by no means an electrical genius but I am going to try and figure out how the PO wired a push button starter. Is there a standard way to wire it in and if so where would the wires be tied into the harness/fuse box?

I think I am going to replace the push button switch with a key switch where the cigarette lighter is. Any hints???

All the push button switch does is deliver 12 volts from any power source to the terminal on the starter solenoid that is closest to the fender. The push button replaced the key switch. The On/Off for the engine is by controlling the voltage to the coil.

You will either have to build a box around the ash tray in order to lift up the entire assembly or you will have to cut the tunnel to make room for all the connections.
