Unanswered: Slow start

I just bought a '73 GT and am having a blast. It is starting to not want to turn over when the key is turned. Play with it a little back and forth and it starts. What could it be?

Tom is more than likely correct. The best solution for you, at this point is to contact Otto Barsch aka "Tekenaar", on this site, and see about getting his "Otto Start" system, before your ignition switch goes totally belly up. A real good final cure is to send the switch assembly to Opel GT Source --- Welcome and they will gladly rebuild your existing switch. The rebuilt switch used in conjunction with the "Otto Start" system will keep you from having further difficulty with your switch. HTH.
