Once specific comment that caught my eye, because I'm converting my dash to use LEDs: the idiot light for the alternator cannot be changed to an LED with the CS alternator.

See "General Information on CS130 Alternators". It explains the DLG1345-6-7: "If we break down the code "DLG1345-6-7"; The "5" is the bracket flange attachments. The "6" is the groove count of the pulley. Now this really doesn't matter due to the fact that we are going to have to replace the pulley!!!! The "7" is the phasing of the back cover. You can always remove the three bolts and rotate the rear body if you have to!!!!"

Hope that's useful and not a rehash. I've been reading this thread for 2 hours and found this link brought a lot of info together for me.
The CS130 that I have is a PowerMaster that I bought from Summit and does not use the idiot light at all, mine NEVER comes on, it is not connected .

Mark that Alt. has a res. wired in for load sensing , the Alt. I use cost a little less and I can wire in the res. to not use the warning lamp but I wanted to keep the lamp and to keep the wiring simple and close to Opel spec. HTH

BTW I found a Delco 12SI alternator you can get straight from NAPA locally here, and it drops right in to all 10SI OEMs - 12SI's are a big improvement in cooling, amps, etc:

I think a got about 75 Amps for about 85 Dollars...

I think you can get alot of 12SI info via google, but here is one example:
