1966-1968 Kadett Service Bulletin 69-14

While looking for something in my 1968 Kadett Parts Manual purchased recently, I found an original Opel P&A (Parts and Accessories) Product Information Bulletin from September 12, 1969 addressing "Kadett Damp Weather Starting Difficulties, 1966-1968 Models", which I thought I would share here.

This bulletin and the referenced TSB 69-T-03 deals specifically with upgrading the early 1966-1968 Kadett ignition systems for all engines (OHV1.1, 1.5CIH, 1.9CIH) to 1969 standards to solve "Damp Weather Starting Difficulties" on these early engines. Basically, this upgrade changes from the earlier points-type, internal resistance coil ignition to the points type, external resistance (wire) coil ignition with resistance bypass during starting for a higher voltage spark and lists all the parts involved.
