Unanswered: Hot-Spark electronic ignition

Hi @,

Is this electronic ignition worth the price for an Opel GT 1969 1.9S ?

eBay Motors: Electronic Ignition for Opel GT Kadett Manta Rekord (item 320322945785 end time Jan-03-09 13:44:11 PST)

Thanks, Bye

Torito

Torito,

The answer is YES (my personal experience) but before moderators jump on you for not using Forum's search feature, have a look at many threads on that subject. Here are some:

Depends on the buyer, to me it was worth every penny, it's not a whole lot more than new points and condenser. Just a note before you purchase make sure the coil resistance is compatible with the unit my first one was mismatched and caused car to go crazy when module warmed up until I got the correct one for my coil, and now I love it,.. set it forget it
The one up for auction is the one I have also

And in the event that you don't find a thread with the answer you are looking for, or can't add to a thread that is related but doesn't quite give you the answer (ALWAYS preferred to starting a new one), please try to start the new thread in the correct Forum (this is the second thread of yours that I have moved this morning )

Thanks in advance
