    Ignition coil testing

    Hi,
I'm trying to test my Ascona ignition coil with a multimeter, It seems that I should get a reading of about 10-11k on the secondary winding, but on the contrary I get a reading of about 8k.
It's time to replace with a new one?
    Cheers
    Fernando

Ohm testing is just half of the picture.
I like to look at the secondary, primary under working conditions.
Firing line KV,burn voltage and burn time.
