Replacement flasher unit?

Time to replace the flasher unit in my GT. I had Pep Boys order their listed replacement unit, but the one I got only has two prongs on it

It's a Tridon flasher unit. Is this the right flasher unit???

According to my DESTEC schematic, in note #2, J.J. Wheatley states: "Suggested mod. Black/Yellow wire may be removed from terminal "C" of the flasher socket & take to ground. 3-pin or 2-pin flashers will then work & there will be no more double green urn signal lites on the dash boardof cars with all good bulbs, but dirty contacts. Reverse the position of the L & R dash indicator lite sockets". HTH.
