Unanswered: I have no blinkers

So I was done replacing the radio and. Wait a minute I'm getting ahead of myself. To get to the radio compartment I dropped the steering column and then pulled out the instrument panel, when I was done put it all back together, everything works......except for the blinkers. I unplug and plugged the black connector. What did I do wrong? What am I missing? do you have any suggestions?, where to look next

I know it may sound stupid to ask, but did you put the flasher back in the socket behind the instrument panel? If you did put it back in, are you sure it is connected correctly? I've had to put mine in at least twice to be sure I had it in the connector right.

I've had the bulbs slip out of their holders and blink behind the dash. Doubt that's your problem. You've got something not connected like Ron suggested.

Ron, I'm happy that you did not omitted the obvious, when I check the flasher behind the panel it was almost completely out, I think when I push the panel back in place it got cut with a wire and pulled it out. I'm happy, glad and a little embarrassed
Thank you for taking the time.

Sometimes it's the obvious that gets overlooked. Here's a hint, next time you pull the instrument panel, take out the flasher first, then put it back in after you've installed the panel. It's easier to remove and install the panel with it out. And that's the way it's supposed to be done.
