Unanswered: 2.2 i wiring

Hi

I am in the process of fitting the wiring to the 2.2 injection system in my GT and have some questions I hope some can put some light on  As usually…

1.Where should be the best place to locate the el. Components needed to get the injection working? Is it in the engine compartment or inside the car.

2.If it is inside the car, where do you feed the cables through?

.3.Anybody out there with pictures that might help me?

4.Any special precautions to take?

Thanks for any help! Hopefully I’ll have the car ready soon and I’ll update with pictures!

Frank

Lightbulb 2.2 FI ECU mountings

I mounted the IAC and FI main ECUs in the passenger-side footwell after routing cable through a hole cut in the corner opposite the #4 cylinder exhaust . . .

. . . and if you're also using the electronic ignition module, I mounted that at the rear of the driver-side radiator support . . .

Thanks! Did you put on a heat shield to protect the cables? Not plenty of space down there...
