The '73 was the only one in color. If you have the chance pick up a Destec CAD redraw of the GT wiring diagram. Well worth it.

The item that is listed as multi-media is actually an adobe pdf file that is in color. All you need is adobe acrobat reader to view it. It is a schematic of a 1973 GT.http://www.opelgt.com/photos/showgallery.php/cat/525

JIm, there are differences in the front harness in early and late model GTs. The early ones only had microswitches in the drivers side headlight mechanism for turning the headlights off and on, along with the indicator lite in the instrument panel. Later models, about mid 71 on had three microswitches for the headlight indicators and turning them off and on. There may be other differences that I'm unaware of, but "nobody" aka Dave is well versed on them. The DESTEC schematic is, for sure a very handy tool to have, but is not all inclusive for the GTs, there are differences that are not fully covered. But a useful tool to have anyway. HTH.

Ok, I'll throw some mud in the water and hope it clears things up.

In 72 the GT was altered in production to include 3 light switches and retracting seat belts. However because of production dates and new model year starts between Germany and here you really heve to pinpoint the actual production dates.
