Unanswered: red bulb?

I wanted to ask what that little red light, between tach and radio is for? Mine is disconnected and since I just pulled the cluster, I wonder if it's something I should hook back up or what? Probably an idiot light for doors or seatbelts brakes?
I can't find it mentioned in the literature I have on hand.

Are you sure it's between the tach and the radio, or is it between the tach and the speedo?

I think you are going to have to provide a picure on this one? There is a light cluster between the tach and the speedo but nothing between the speedo and the radio unless it is a PO mod-maybe for your NOS system??????

I apologize, I grapped my Owner's Manual on my way out the door this morning thinking it had the dash diagram I wanted in it. I can't remember which book that was now anymore. I thought it was where indicated on this picture, this isn't my dash, I borrowed the picture, now I'm doubting myself on location. I'll shut up until I have done more homework and have a picture of MY cluster.

Mine doesn't have one!
But, maybe it was a warning light when the PO was getting close to 150mph!!

It could be the indicator light for the fog lights you discussed here. Just a thought. Jarrell

red bulb

some after market car alarms used a small red L.E.D. bulb to show when the alarm was on.I installed one on my dodge van and when it quit working removed everything but the bulb and some wire.

I checked my dash and my picture above is accurate, no doubt it was for an alarm or some other add-on. I'll leave it there, hmmmmm what could I wire it to for fun......
