Unanswered: Fuse locations

I was checking a few things on the car today. Its charging fine, got the dome light to work and discovered that the plug wires are really bad. I was up under the dash and noticed that a fuse is missing. The missing fuse is located in the third slot. Sitting in the drivers seat, it is the third one over from the drivers door. Which circuit is this? About the only thing I can't verify to be in working order is the hazard lights due to the switch being broken but if I am right, the turn signals are on the same circuit as the hazards and they work fine. Also, should I be able to turn the blower motor on with out the ignition in the on position?

That would be next to the four studs in the center of the fuse panel and it is for the left parking lights, front and rear. The heater/defroster blower switch should only get power when the key is in the on position. HTH.

Absolutely right! Thanks Namba209, I put in a fuse and everything is working great. I'll still have to figure out the blower thing though.

O.K. here's the power route for the heater switch, according to my DESTEC schematic.. In the gang of four fuses, to the right of the 4 studs, second fuse is power for the cigarette lighter, blower motor switch, and the headlite indicator. Black wire from the fuse panel to Green IP connector pin #1, from there, a straight shot to the lighter, then a jumper to the blower switch. Low speed, Black/red/white wire goes to Yellow IP connector Pin #3 to the blower motor resistor panel on the blower. Hi speed from the switch, Black wire to IP White connector Pin #6 to the blower motor resisitor block. The blower motor is grounded to the stud that holds the wires in a clamp before they go to the resistor block. HTH.
