You can remove the motor and the linkage and do a bench test to see how things are operating. It may be that the grease around the linkage connections has hardened and are slowing things down. The easy way is to clean off what old grease you can and then to add some oil or fresh grease to free things up a bit.

Windshield wipers
Curious if everyone is happy with the GT windshield wipers. I have been considering using an aftermarket motor and linkage.

Are you guys still using the 30amp alternator? I switched to a 65 amp but have not yet fired it up. So I wonder if more juice might be the answer......

Not according to todays standards would I consider my wipers adequate. That is why it has been recommended to use RainX or equivalent on the windshield if you are going to drive in the rain.

On the 1970 GT that I used to have in the 70's and 80's I thought the windshield wipers worked fine. I just saw a video on You Tube that might have been from an old commercial. They were driving GT's in the rain on a test track I think and the windshield wipers were moving pretty fast, mush faster than mine do now. I'm pretty sure though that the high setting is faster now on modern cars than it used to be.
