There is a company in Germany that makes partial and complete, exact wiring harness replacemens for all the Opels we have here in the US. More expensive than "Painless" and "EZ Wire" (sorry Charles), but far less "converting" has to be done to it as you just yank out the old and slip the new back right where it belongs.

The wiring diagram mentioned above is by far the best I have ever heard of. I would call OGTS and ask for an e-mail address or beg for it from one of the members here. He has put hundreds- thousonds of hours into hand drawing upgrades and otherwise invisible sections of our cars for us. I see his diagram about every three monthes on E-Bay. Sorry but it isn't there today. It has been going for about ($25 ?) and I think it is laminated too. A very professional looking, color coded diagram. Good luck.

The Destec wiring diagram is by far an indespensible item for any opel rewiring job. I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and it has been a life saver on all aspects of rewiring. Highly recommended!!! Well worth the price!

I carried some to the Charlotte meet a few years ago and was stopped by a few non Opel people who wanted to know where they could get one like it for their model of car.
