Unanswered: cigarette lighter assembly

while reworking my dash cluster I dis-assembled the lighter and do not remember how it goes back together and where the hot wire hooks up. May have mis-placed something. I understand how the whole unit goes into the dash But I havve a ceramic partthat appears to go in somewhere. The factory service manual does not show this. HELP!!!!!

I'll have to pull one of my spare dashes out, but, the wiring is simple, the "hot" wire goes to the center, I think it's actually a threaded stud. The ground wire goes to a terminal on the outside edge, if I remember correctly.

. . . on what year and model Opel you're talking about. There are at least two different lighter assemblies used in the Opel models imported here and they are unique, both the removable units and their holders!

The ceramic part fits behind the heating element it has a spring around it some washers on top then you screw the handle onto it ...the bottom has something white looks like ceramic but it feels more like an insulating type material it goes in the bottom of the receiver and the hot 12 volts post goes through it.
On the one I just took apart if it makes a difference the hole that goes sideways is closer to one end that end goes up and handle screws onto it

Thanks for the help. I got it together. Now if the GT gods are willing maybe it will all work when the dash goes back in. It's a 69 I'm building for my wife. Already set up with
weber, header, getrag 5-speed, sway bars, poly bushings when purchased in Feb 08 for a stupidly low price. I have stripped the body, painted it, replaced headliner, installed glass and now working the dash. Thanks again.
