In my recently acquired 73 GT, I see I have a dead water temp gage... First glance shows no illness at the thermostat end, but I could be wrong? Is there another place to look about before opening up the dash for broken wires etc? (IE, is there a common breakage place for this gage?)... Thanks for any help!Well I need to open up the dash anyway, I have the classic dead clock problem too ![]() Any thoughts or guidance is appreciated... I looked over in cooling systems, and I looked at wire diagrams and am still abit in need of a 'push in the right direction'.... thanks! Paul Yellow '73 GT Flagstaff, AZ |

I had the same problem on my 73 GT years ago and traced the problem down to a bad gage! I just went on-line and found another one and replaced it and haven't had a problem since. This sounds like it may be your problem...
