Sounds to me like that may be caused by the return line plumbing. If you have the end of the return line close to and pointing at a flat metal surface inside the tank, it WILL be noisy (pressure stream splashing sound), especially if that occurs above the fuel level in tank. Tank tends to amplify any sound in "empty area" (anything above fuel level). Best solution is to place return line "nozzle end" where it's ALWAYS below fuel level in tank.
