Unanswered: Rear Trim Value

I've seen a ton of different prices for them, and I know they change time after time, but what would someone be looking to pay to purchase a rear trim piece now?

It depends on whether the part is new or used. If it's used, what's the condition? And it also depends on the market....if there are 6 of them currently on ebay vs. none at all, then the value will fluctuate. I've seen them go from $40 (used) to $300 (new). Probably average is $125-$200 for a V.G.C. used part to a so-so new part (dings from storage).

Like Bob said it depends on condition and if it has had work done on it. A good used one with no welding on it can probably fetch $150-200 if there are no other ones on eBay. I sold an NOS unpainted one that I had on ebay about three years ago for $350, and it had a small dent in it (though easily fixable).

The thin clip on piece that goes right around the edge of the rear end.
There is one on eBay at the moment and here is a copy of the picture - Thanks Ciara1970

BTW - I got my one shipped internationally by getting it cut, neatly in half - easy to weld back together again when it got here!
