I don't really need to, but I was looking at the plans for putting in power windows, and it looked like it would go much more easily if that inner skin was removable. In addition, I would like to be able to cover the inside of the outer skin with sound insulation (Duramat). Plus, I'm in the process of gutting a rust bucket GT, I got the door off, and kinda just wanted to know.

Can't imagine that it would be faster to remove and reinstall the inner door panel then it would be to just install the electric window mechanisms with the door in its original state.
