Question Unanswered: Universal weatherstripping

I was reading a post earlier today and it reminded me that I need to replace the weatherstripping for the doors in my GT. I checked out JC Whitney, and under Opel GT it lists the following:

PUSH-ON TRIM WEATHERSTRIPS FOR DOORS, TRUNKS, WINDOWS - JCWhitney

I'm not sure which one it would be of #'s 2, 3, 8, or 9 based on the pictures. Is this similar to the stuff OGTS sells? If so (not trying to detract business from them or anything... they still have a LOT of stuff I can't get anywhere else!) $35-53 is just a bit cheaper, and much more manageable by my wallet...! If anyone can tell me, great!

Also, on a slightly related note... What kind of rubber goes in the rear quarter pop-out windows? Is it a single molded piece, or can you buy similar stuff to the door weatherstripping and cut it to fit?

Thanks,

Gabe

I think #2 would be the closest to original, a few others on here may be able to guide you better though. I went with the door seal from Opel GT Source... You try to use something a little too big and your doors wont shut right. You use something too small and you'll get wind noise.

The quarter windows are a molded rubber peice, your best bet is to go with OGTS reproductions.

I did however go to jc whitney for the rubber seal under the hood though. I used style 11 across the rear edge of the engine compartment and a couple peices on either side of the radiator. It seems to work well.
