Unanswered: 72 gt interior center module

my gt came with that huge plastic air conditioning piece that covers the emergency brake and gear shift. what i'd like to do is take that piece out since the a/c isn't working right now but it looks like poopy/kaka down there. sort of unfinished. does anyone have any ideas or pictures as to how it should look down there as a finished product? the car is an automatic.

Not exactly sure what your asking or looking for, but here are a few pictures of an A/C Center Console and a few more from a stock console with no A/C. The GT consoles with A/C are the same for an automatic and manual.. just with a special low gear plate underneath.
