OGTS Visor Hinges

Anyone ever order either the metal or plastic reproduction visor hinges from Opel GT Source? Both are the same price.. but they don't give much information on them. I'm making out a list of needed parts.. and can't decide on this one!

I went with the metal ones, plastic will get brittle again after a bunch of years and snap.

Are the metal ones close in appearance to the originals other than them being broken?

Metal ones are not painted, but other than that they are perfect.

I too went with metal hinges, painted them, and am happy with them.

Are they just steel? Do they come with any coating at all? Maybe someone has a picture of them before they have been painted..

They are cast metal no coating.

The cast metal hinges also break easily, don't overtighten! I found out the hard way
