Unanswered: Seats and Harnesses

I have a manta a v8. I want to change the seats for some highback buckets i.e. opel GT. The problem is I have fitted harnesses which I want to keep. Can a GT seat be slotted in the top for harnesses or will the construction of the seat not allow for this? Are the mountings very different from a manta? I've looked at all the aftermarket seats and I don't like any of them!! They all have shoulder supports. I've tried to keep the car in a muscle car style as I think it looks like a small muscle car.

Any comments appreciated.

Simon
