Unanswered: Headliner

Query - Is it possible to install a headliner without removing the windows? Sounds like most agree it is one of the most difficult jobs to do on a GT. Is it even possible with the glass installed?

Unless your window rubbers are dry and cracked, it is possible to remove the windows and reinstall them with the same rubbers. If they are cracked you need new ones anyway.

Anything is "possible" given enough time and money

Can it be done?

Done yes, done right NO
It really is next to impossible to do it without removing the window gaskets
The vinyl fabric has to be attached and glued to the frame of the Opel
in all the window opennings. Then the rubber gaskets fit over the vinyl

Well in my experience with Opels highly unlikely that all the rubber gaskets will be soft and supple enough to pull this one off.

Even if they are there is a big risk of breaking the glass when removing the glass with the gaskets still attached. Gaskets are easier to replace (and less expensive) than glass.
