Just as a note, before the order is placed, to help me when all of this arrives, is to ask Wolfgang to PLEASE make sure each item has the correct part number MARKED on it. The locking strip(s), as far as length, is no big deal as I can measure it out myself.

Gear Shift Silencer 3230004
Todd,
I do not need one of these. I only inserted the part number for those who may have an interest in one. I need the 005 shift linkage part number-(2), frt/rr sunroof seals, edge protector and crossmember end bushings. Thanks, Dave |

Dr. Manta Order
Todd: I only want the rear window rubber gasket, not the front
I need two (2) chrome angle connectors, not one (1). I think that 4 meters of chrome insert should cover both the back and front windshield, but I did not calibrate this with any specificity. I just figured that more than 6 feet should get around each windshield. Thanks. Mitch |

It's been a few years since I've sold Opel parts, but IIRC we used to sell 22 ft. rolls of the 'chrome' plastic insert for a Manta. I think the true length needed was something like 21'-6" or something like that. It's more than you'd think.

Revised Order
Revised order is attached - I did this quickly so those of you that needed revisions please review and post here. We still need to confirm how many meters of trim is needed for each windshield and revise as necessary.
ATTN: John Henning - if you can please post the part number, description, and price for the additional window rubber you needed I can include it. Dr Manta is on vacation from 10/2 through 10/13. As of right now, we're looking at a 2700+ Euro order . That's including the 19% VAT which we can hopefully avoid.Cheers, Todd

OK...does ANYONE have a clue on what we need to get in place to avoid the 19% VAT?
"Dear Todd, the only way we can delete the VAT, will be that you will guarantee the correct import of the items into the USA. Will say, we will need the proper import documentation from your end in paper form. if you can or will not provide these papers, we will invoice the 19% VAT." Todd

VAT Avoidance
Todd,
What Wolfgang is saying is that we should get a customs broker to handle the transaction. If the borker files the appropriate transit documents, we can avoid the tax. The other way to go pay on purchase and file for a VAT Refund with a form available on-line. I have downloaded the form. Dave |

Todd,
Been traveling, sorry I am too late to get in on the order but I hope it turns out well. I still need stuff so I will ping you on the process to learn how to get it done and hope it can be replicated. Jim
