No Seat Lever

I noticed on a 1970 GT that I looked at to buy that the seats had no lever release on the lower side where the back and seat bottom meet. The seat just flips back and forth. Is this an older GT seat design and the levers came later?

Nope, all GTs had the levers on the seats to access the area behind them.

check the other side of seat sometimes people put the passenger seat on the drivers side and the level is probably broken since you can flip it back and forth.
