Question Unanswered: Seat Reclining Mechanism

So my passenger seat came with everything except the mechanism that allows for it to properly recline. It came with the rails, the seat back and bottom frames, but the lever and gears that allow it to recline and pop forward were just not there. The severity of the case is so that the two sections of the sea are not even attached and contain not attaching hardware.

Is there a replacement kit somewhere? Or at least a quick fix that could be replaced later with the proper fixture?

I will post a photograph of all of the parts I have soon.

Except for the seat hinge repair bolt at Opel GT Source, there are no new seat recliner mechanism parts available that I know of. You'll need to buy another seat or the reclining mechanism from someone who is parting out Opels. They often turn up on e-bay or in the classified ads on this site. HTH

I cut off the mechanism from two seats I scrapped out. They have to be welded on of course.

I have the brackets on either portion of the seat, just none of the gears and levers etc. Can I just switch those out or are they never supposed to be a seperate entity?

I'll look in my parts bin. I may have a used set. I don't know if they are for the driver's or passengers side. Give me 24 hours and I'll look.
