GT Carpet Kit from ?

I have been waiting for Opel GT Source to get their carpet kits in now for 5 months and I am tired of waiting. Has anyone bought a carpet kit from USA Opel? If so are they good quality, fit, etc.

I think they are meant to be the same as standard, Will let you know when I get them.
Postage might be a problem to the US though.

I don't know about the GT but I have one installed for my Ascona. It's fits great and the quality is good too.

I just installed carpet from USA Opel nice product good quality comes in like 10 pieces fits good but wish they could make it one piece for front. took about 2 hours to install.

Dear Opel GT owners

A friend of mine informed me you all were discussing carpets for the GT.

OGTS has been busy working with a new carpet manufacture for 6 months now to ensure our customers receive a high quality carpet set.

I am happy to report:
That as of last evening (6 p.m.) last evening, I install & approved the latest carpet sample.

The Cut-Pile carpets have now been give the 'green light' for production to begin. The wait is almost over.

I have purchased My GT carpet set from Automat here in L.I. New York
They offer any type of carpet type and color for any Opel.
I purchased my set 9 years ago Black loop type and have found it to last longer then the cut pile, may not look as plush, but last longer.

Why are all of the carpets stitched around the edges instead of bound with vinyl like the original?
Why don't they come with grommets installed so they can be attached like the originals?

The automat carpets are vinyl stitched borders and have a heavy backing padding attached to the back side. Probably cost more than others but worth the money. (No Grommets) Good Spray tack by 3M does the trick.

The 'new manufacture' is vinyl stitching the edges.

The metal 'grommets' will not be installed, but...
the carpets are indexed so you 'could' install new metal grommets if you wish.

Carpet sets for the Opel GT in plush have just arrived and are currently being shipped from Opel GT Source.

I ended up waiting for the carpets from OGTS and they are really nice. I am about halfway installed and so far so good.
