Seat material available?

As winter is soon coming to the Northland, I plan on pulling the drivers seat on my '74 Ascona while it's in storage and having it renewed. Since there are splits at the seams on the seat I'd like to replace the fabric. It looks like Mercedes Tex material, is it still available? I need dark blue.

I would check with whatever upholsterer you're going to use and see what they have available to them. I had a set of Recaro KRX redone in a heavy, smooth, vinyl and people who have seen it swear it was leather.
