Unanswered: Fixed rear window on a Ascona

Has anyone converted the rear side windows on a Ascona to fixed?

I was thinking of creating a window seal just like the GT but then the windows need to be cut down to fit the hole.

You'll need to inquire with the Germans. The Ascona & Manta was available in Europe with fixed rear windows.

Cutting the glass down is not an option as the glass is tempered.

When I say cutting down I really mean have a smaller glass installed. The original glass, though it can be cut perfectly with a water jet, it does have a hole which is unwanted.
