Wayne Torman has an excellant article on the headlights, rmoving and re-installing them , plus the wiring. Unfortunately, with the recent upgrades to the site, it has become inaccessable. Gary is aware of the problem and said he will try to fix it this weekend. It will be accessible from the Opel Tech Center box under the General tab, when he's got it fixed. You definatly need to read the article and think seriously about getting one of J. J.Wheatly's DESTEC schematics. It covers 90% of all GT wiring, except for the early GT headlight microswitches, but that can be deciphered with the schematic. HTH.
