Headlights turn on in down position

After replacing the wiring for the headlights and following the destrec diagram, i have a problem. When i turn the car on, the headlights come on while being flipped down. So when i go to flip them up they stay on until i almost have them locked and then they shut off. I can move the lever and they will turn on once again. Sounds like a simple fix but i am buzzin where this fix is. I have checked the wiring again and again and it looks to be right. Is my problem with the micro switches? Possible wire attached to a hot wire? If anybody else has had this problem let me know. Blinker lites work, license lites, side markers, front markers(PO garbage) backup lites, high and low beam all work. I look forward to your answers as i hope to get this solved before MN gets to cold. Nick

I could be nothing more than the wires at the microswitch, in the driver's side bucket, Yellow/Black and Black are connected on to the wrong lugs. It's hard to read the NO for normally open, NC for normally closed, and C for common on those switches. The Black wire goes to the C lug and the Yellow/Black goes to the NO lug. HTH.
