Unanswered: Headlight Switch?

My micro switches have long since gone with P.O.s. It came with a toggle that is frying fuses. I have been studying the wiring diagram and wedging my big butt under the steering wheel for days now.

If everything is hooked up to the relays properly, I could put a switch on the red wire going to the fuse box with an inline fuse and a ground, I would be able to turn the lights on whithout the key and save having to get into the buckets to make it factory. Right?

You could use a 30-40 amp fuse in the red wire, but that doesn't turn on the lights, but it would make the headlight circuit fused, which is a good thing. The Yellow/Black wire going to the headlight relay is what makes the relay work to turn on the headlights, exterior lights and the iknstrument lights. You could put a switch in that wire powered from one of the two studs that has a Red wire attached. HTH.
