Unanswered: GT Headlights stay on when closed

I just got back to working on my 71 gt after a few months of distractions. I had to jump it and noticed that the headlights are always on! open, closed, doesn't matter. I open and closed them a lot out of frustration and noticed that sometimes they shut off halfway closed and then turn back on when fully closed. do I have a stuck microswitch?

Sure sounds like it- try to spray some electrical contact cleaner on it.

Less likely but possible a sticking relay under the dash. But I would bet on the microswitch since jarring it sometimes made the lights go off.
