Unanswered: rewire headlight without removal

i went thru the various headlight wiring posts (jeez there are a lot) and saw several references to being able to rewire them without removal of the headlight bucket. since mine rotate and lock just fine, i'd prefer not to mess with 'em. unfortunately the posts don't actually explain how to perform this feat. any clues are greatly appreciated.

btw, many of the links in the old posts no longer function. for example links to hemmings tech articles take you to their main page but the articles either no longer exist on their site or aren't accessible.

Check Those Wires

This is another post to those who haven't checked the headlight wiring on their GT. DON'T WAIT, AT THE VERY LEAST PULL THE ACCESS PANELS AND CHECK IT OUT.

I was extremely lucky that I didn't have a complete meltdown in the wiring harness. I have problems with the insulation crumbling off the wires and a little rodent having insulation for lunch.

I love this little car - plan on working on 1 thing and end up finding several more I have to have to fix before it's ready.
