Unanswered: Looking for pics of installed flairs

Does anyone have pictures or posted pictures in the gallery of rear flairs installed? Just trying to find some ideas…
Thanks

Here is a rear shot of my first GT I restored. Full body kit from OGTS, but here is what the rear flare looks like. There's a custom body on my GT 350 project that is sitting out in my yard. I will also take some pictures of that since your just trying to find 'ideas'.

Just search the German Ebay. Almost every GT that on there will have them.

TonyB, I sold it to a guy in Virginia. He isn't a member of the site, but I have his email.. and I have contacted him a few times and received a couple of emails back.. but no updated pictures. I haven't tried contacting him in about a year, but it seems as if he wasn't getting much done. All it needed when I sold it was: Interior finished (carpet and door panels), the pop-out windows installed, new exhaust and ball joints.

Wish I had finished pictures.. but don't

Maybe it's time to send him another email and see if it ever got done, or if he sold it, or what happened. Even if he did sell it, I would love to find out how it's doing!

Here are some shots of my 1969 Project. I got the car like this.. and really don't even have any plans to finish it. It's the same car that I have for sale for $500 in my signature.

besides Kyle's Conrero GT......
Is anyone else running the Steinmetz flares?
anyone have any close up pictures of where the front flares meet the belly pan?
and... what are you using to fill the gap between the flare and body?

TIA

PO put the Steinmetz kit on my GT. (BTW, what's the grace period for blaming POs for stuff?).
You can see some pictures in my gallery. A metal "belly pan extender" was put on. Can get pics later if desired. I'd like to someday add wheel well liners as all the gaps are exposed and rather unsightly. And, just about 10 minutes ago I pulled into a parking spot and pulled up a bit too far, worst noise of fiberglass meeting concrete. Doesn't look like I cracked it though.
I like the flares but I like the stock body just as well. Cutting the fender lips to open them up for the flares is unfortunate, no going back after that. Getting wheels to fit the wider stance is on my to-do list as having that width and not filling it leaves the rear end looking like old lady bloomers billowing in the breeze.
No to mention the really crappy filler work done to smooth them into the body. But, eh from 20 feet or 20 mph, she's a looker.

I'd also consider re-working the arch as they are over large IMHO, reworking to match the curve of the wheel better would look a lot nicer I think.

Added website of pictures. .Mac Web Gallery
