You could try OGTS, they do have some listed in their on-line catalog.

Opel GT Source does have the emblems you are wanting. They have plastic reproductions but I asked for metal ones and they had a few there! The metal ones were more expensive, of course.

Emblem Question

I'm in the process of anodizing the emblems of my GT as well as the trim parts I've collected over the years. During clean up I found that some of my older pieces have the sides of the larger letters painted black and my current ones do not. I tend to think the non-painted ones are correct but I thought I'd throw it out there...which is the right version?

They should be all chrome with no "black" on the letters...

Makes sense....although I have to admit they really 'pop' with the shadow contrast.

Question Opel Emblems

. . . they do indeed, I have to agree.

Though GT and other models imported here did not have painted emblem edges, some models did have painted "recessed face" emblems . . . square "GM" emblem (black) below and center of rear window on early GTs, the italic script "LS" trunk emblem (black) and italic "1900" trunk emblem (red) on my '69 Kadett for example, below . . .

The only "painted edge" emblems I'm aware of are those on European models like the "ASCONA" (black) and "S" (red, now black) emblems I received from Erick for my '75 . . .

. . . and that brings me to the purpose behind this little "emblem/badging" discourse. I got an original "sprint" emblem from Germany several years ago to install on my Kadett upon conversion to the dual DFO manifolds.

So here's my dilemma, technically it should go below the current Kadett LS script trunk badging, most likely replacing the slanted 1900 badge under it. Unfortunately, there's not an aesthetically pleasing way to do it . . . at least to my eyes. Checked out other exterior places to mount it somewhere on the body and came up empty.

So, how about mounting the "sprint" emblem on top of that large air cleaner halfway between the mounting bolts and legible from the front?! What do you think . . .
